BW Strainer
A BW Strainer is a strainer designed with butt-weld connections, created by welding the beveled ends of the pipe and the straight end of the strainer together. It serves to remove larger, unwanted suspended particles from a liquid, primarily to protect downstream equipment, such as pumps, from damage.
