It is also important to keep the valve in a clean indoor place as much as possible and they should be kept orderly. It is forbidden to put them in places where there are sand, gravel, soil, sewage, liquid chemicals, wind and rain. Damage and corrosion of the flange's surfaces, threaded parts and sealing surfaces of valve seats can be avoided by doing this.
 
When the valves are stored, moved or transported in the warehouse, they should not be violently bumped or dropped and collisions with other objects should be avoided. Otherwise, the valve stem, valve body, accessory piping, and instruments will be damaged. When an expected construction is conducted in particular, even if the above precautions are clarified, people will unintentionally fail to do these things that should be paid attention to. As a result, the valve is damaged, leakage or other accidents occur after installation, which delays the whole engineering and duration of the project.
 
Precautions for new projects
It takes quite a long time to build a new project. In fact, most of the projects are unexpected projects. The construction of the protective pipe is especially completed in the final stage of the entire project. The workload of the project was concentrated on the construction of the protective pipe. In order to avoid holding up the work, in the project's planning stage, the work schedule should be specified according to the actual situation, and a few days should be reserved for the construction period of each project. Positions of protective pipes of equipment, materials and sizes of protective pipes must be appropriate. Only this kind of piping can put the production equipment into normal operation. However, when the temperature of the medium flowing in the pipeline is low, although the protective piping construction is completed at normal temperature, normal temperature air or nitrogen is used to conduct an operation test; the equipment and devices are confirmed to be well operated. If the fact of contracting with cold doesn't take into account under construction, the failure will occur mostly. The protective pipe which is installed on the pipeline will generate compression stress, tensile stress, and bending moments due to contracting and the resulting stress produced will extend for the entire pipeline, thus causing damage and destruction of the valve. For this kind of protective pipe that may cause thermal stress, it is necessary to take appropriate measures afterward to deal with it reasonably.
