ASTM A350 LF6 Class 2 Gate Valve

An ASTM A350 LF6 Class 2 Gate Valve is a control valve made from carbon and low alloy steel forgings that meet the ASTM A350 Grade LF6 Class 2 specification. This standard requires notch toughness testing for piping components, including forged flanges, fittings, valves, and similar forged and machined parts. The gate valve is designed to either allow media to flow through unobstructed or to stop fluid flow completely. One of the primary advantages of a gate valve is its straight-through, unobstructed passageway, which results in minimal pressure loss. Additionally, the unobstructed bore of the gate valve permits the passage of cleaning pigs, unlike butterfly valves.
